Elbro AG is a dynamic development, production and trading specialist founded as an independent company thirty years ago. We offer professional solutions in four areas:

Illumination and halogen spotlights, movement and presence detectors, EIB/KNX building automation, alarm systems, electrical products.

• Circuitry: Meeting all today’s demands with ease – switching, controlling, monitoring, all single-source!
Time-switching technology by Grässlin, lighting control systems, electronic timing, measuring and monitoring relays, interface modules, stepping switches and SMS remote switching devices.

• Measuring technology: Comprehensive range of robust and dependable instrumentation for installation and maintenance professionals!
Test instruments for electrical systems, digital multimeters, clamp-on meters, metrology instruments, measuring accessories.

Ever since our company founding in 1978 by Guido Brogle we have dependably partnered loyal customers mainly including the electrical industry, distributors and retailers. We also export worldwide.

Since the end of 1988 our headquarter is in Steinmaur, Switzerland, with about 35 employees at the present time. The company is managed by Christof Senk.

Our key success factor is the high quality of our products and services. We focus all our activities on optimally meeting customer needs.

Since 1997 our ISO 9001-2000 and new ISO 9001-2008 certified management system guarantees efficient operations, dependable support, first-class products and fast delivery.

Apart from the global brands we represent in Switzerland, including MERTEN, GRÄSSLIN, NEXANS, SONTHEIMER and BTR, about 30 % of our products are developed and produced in-house or under our brand names such as ELBROMATIC, ELBROLIGHT, ELBROLINE, ELBRO ECOLINE, ELBROBUTLER or ITplus®.

In September 2007 we acquired the entire telematics offering of KS Kontakt Systeme AG. And we have just been appointed official agent in Switzerland for Testboy professional test and measuring equipment.

For this reason we have introduced numerous processes enabling us to discover errors at the earliest possible moment.

6. Both faults and causes must be eliminated: fault avoidance has priority over fault elimination.

7. Our product quality depends on the quality of our supplies. Thus we demand the highest quality from our suppliers.

8. Each employee contributes in his and her own way to realising our aim of the highest quality.
